Block magnets are some of our most popular magnets. Block magnets can take the form of a cube, a plate or an edged rod. It is also among the block magnets that you will find the most powerful magnets. The largest block magnet we currently offer has a strength of an incredible 100kg. So watch out for your fingers! Block magnets are used for a wide range of applications. The thinnest block magnets are useful as closures in letters and boxes. The larger block magnets are often used in magnetic knife holders, to weed out our metal pieces in cattle feed, in maglev train experiments and much more. The magnetic north and south poles are always placed on the two largest sides of the magnet.
