Material

Select which material should be placed between the magnet and the metal plate. The chosen material can affect the magnet's strength. Materials such as plastic, paper, wood and similar correspond to the material "Air".

Pull direction

Select which direction the pull force goes in your use case. The explanation of the two options is as follows:
  • a - Strength: Select this if you have a direct pull away from the magnet.
  • b - Load capacity: Select this if you have a downward pull on the magnet. An example could be that the magnet is attached to a whiteboard and needs to hold something up without sliding down or tipping off the whiteboard. This type of pull is Load capacity.
