Here's a small magnetic project that everyone can participate in and that is really useful in everyday life. The project involves making some nice magnetic holders for your house keys, car keys or other small items. When you finish the project, which takes less than 5 minutes, you'll have 5 magnetic hooks that are also self-adhesive and therefore easy to mount on a cabinet, wall or similar.

To make the project, you will need the following
- 3 pieces D-10-05-N52 magnets for each small hook.
- 1 piece D-30-07-N42 magnet for each large hook.
- 1 set Losjön hooks from Ikea (8 EUROs for five hooks. Ikea article number is 902.257.93)
- A bit of filling such as cardboard, paper, plastic or similar
Pay attention to the following
- We have chosen three D-10-05-N52 for the small hooks. We do not recommend using fewer or weaker magnets, as the magnetic hook may have difficulty holding the keys.
- For the large hooks, we find that D-30-07-N42 works best, but you can also use D-30-10-N45 for even more holding power.
- For the keys to stick well to the magnetic hook, make sure that the key is in a key ring or something else that is made of metal that is magnetic. Keys by themselves usually can't stick to a magnet.
Procedure

1. UNPACK THE HOOKS
Find your pack of Ikea Losjön hooks and unpack them.

2. SEPARATE THE HOOKS
Twist the hooks apart so you are left with two hook parts. They may be a little tight, so just twist them. Here you see the separated hooks, magnets and filling.

3. PUT FILLING IN THE HOOK
Place a small amount of paper, cotton wool or other filler in the bottom of the hook part that has the adhesive. You need to add enough so that the magnet doesn't rattle around inside the hook. I've chosen to cut some cardboard into small pieces, but you can use whatever you think works best.

4. ATTACH THE MAGNET TO THE HOOK
Place the magnet inside the unfilled hook piece.

5. ASSEMBLE THE TWO HOOKS
Put the two hook parts back together. Now you should have a hook with a magnet inside that doesn't rattle around. Here you can see the three magnetic hook I made.

6. Place the hook
Remove the paper from the sticker and place the magnetic Ikea hook wherever you want

7. READY TO USE
Put your keys on the magnetic Ikea hooks. The large magnet can easily hold scissors in place.
The project is complete
It's really easy and looks great too. We use two small magnetic hooks and one large one to keep track of our house keys and car keys. If you try this project yourself, feel free to send a picture of the finished result to info@brisingi.com and we'll add it to this guide so that others can be inspired by your experience.
