Magnetic dishcloth holder for the sink, brass

The magnetic brass dishcloth holder from By Magnet solves a problem we all know: What to do with the wet dishcloth? Put it on the table? Hang it on the tap? Put it in the sink? None of these places work very well. That's why Bymagnet Reenbergs has created this simple dishcloth holder that can easily be placed in the sink. This gives the wet dishcloth a place to hang and dry where it's out of the way, but still always close at hand. And when the sink needs to be cleaned, the magnetic dishcloth holder is simply removed from the sink and then put back on. It's super easy thanks to the magnets of the dishcloth holder. The holder can also be used in places other than the sink. For example, on the fridge, grill or radiator.

Installing the magnetic brass dishcloth holder is easy and tool-free. If your kitchen sink is made of a different material (e.g. granite or corian) than brass, extra strong magnets are required. This can be selected before adding the holder to the shopping basket.

Will the magnetic holder work on ALL sinks?

As written, the holder works on brass sinks and the version with extra strong magnets works with most granite and corian sinks. That said, there are some types of sinks that the holder will not work with. These are sinks where the distance between the holder and counter magnet is more than 7 mm. So if your sink is more than 7 mm thick, even the extra strong counter magnets won't be able to hold the dishcloth holder in place. The magnetic holder does not work with porcelain sinks as the distance between holder and counter magnets is more than 7 mm.

Product for extra thick washes

If your sink is not compatible with the magnetic holder and counter magnets, there is an alternative which is self-adhesive silicone metal discs. Here are links to products that use the metal discs instead of counter magnets:

Installation in kitchen sink

1. Place the magnetic brass dishcloth holder in the desired position in the sink
2. Place the counter magnets on the back of the sink
3. When the two magnets are attracted to each other, the holder is stuck
4. When the sink needs cleaning, the holder can be easily removed and reattached
