Black magnets

Black is the most common colour in our magnet range, and for good reason. Many black magnets are black because of their coating: rubber-coated pot magnets and waterproof neodymium magnets get their colour from the protective rubber layer that makes them suitable for damp, outdoor and marine environments. Epoxy-coated magnets are also typically black, offering better corrosion resistance than standard nickel plating.

Beyond protection, black works well aesthetically. Against dark surfaces — steel beams, black furniture, painted metalwork — a black magnet disappears. That makes this range popular for discreet mounting, hidden closures in cabinetry and furniture, and retail display fixtures where the magnet itself shouldn't draw attention.

The range includes hook magnets, pot magnets with threaded stems, rubber-coated systems with internal threads, whiteboard magnets, magnetic sheets and flexible magnetic tape — all in black.

For outdoor and wet environments, see our dedicated waterproof magnets range. If you need a threaded fixing, rubber-coated pot magnets with internal thread are a robust choice.
