Description
The hook magnet has a diameter of 25 mm and a height of 30 mm. The strength is 18 kg.
Please note that the stated strength is for direct pull on a horizontal surface. If the magnet is mounted on a vertical surface (e.g. a wall), its holding power will be far below the stated strength. This is because the magnet will either start sliding down or the weight will cause the magnet to tip off the surface. Therefore: On a horizontal surface, the holding force of the magnet is the same as the strength stated on this page, while on a vertical surface the holding force is around 15% of the strength.
