Description
The magnet is 40 mm wide, 40 mm long and 4 mm high. The strength is 16 kg.
These countersunk magnets can be a great alternative to the stronger and more robust steel pot magnets. The magnets are only 4 mm high and therefore very discreet. This makes them ideal for use as locking mechanisms in cupboards and doors, or for attaching signs, for example.
Be aware that neodymium magnets are by nature a little 'brittle' and will break easily if struck hard or repeatedly. Therefore, consider whether countersunk magnets can be recessed/drilled into the surface where they are to be mounted to protect them. Care should also be taken if the magnets are screwed into place. Do not tighten the screws to a torque higher than 2 Nm, otherwise the magnets may break.
If you need screws for the magnets, use the following:

- Countersunk machine screw ISO 7046-2 M3 (3 mm)
