Description
Sew-on magnets are ideal for joining two pieces of fabric together. They can be used instead of buttons on a blouse or to attach a mosquito net to a window. The great thing about these magnets is that they can be sewn into the fabric with a needle and thread, providing an easy way to keep something closed. Additionally, these magnets are waterproof, so they can be washed without damage.
The magnets are sold in pairs, meaning when you buy 1, you get 2 magnets that are attracted to each other. Each magnet itself has a diameter of 18 mm and a height of 2 mm, while the width of the sewn-in plastic is 35 mm.
A few things to be aware of
- The magnets are waterproof but can withstand a maximum temperature of 80 degrees. Wash gently.
- The magnets are sold in pairs. So if you buy 1, you will get 2 magnets.
- You can determine how to orient the magnets to attract each other by looking at the (+) and (-) symbols. (+) and (-) attract each other, while two (+) or two (-) magnets will repel each other.
- The strength is determined by direct contact between two magnets. Depending on the thickness of the fabric, the strength of the magnets may decrease. It is recommended that you buy magnets that are slightly stronger than you think you will need.
