Description
The Channel magnet measures 15x15x4 mm and has a strength of 5.5 kg.
The channel magnet is a neodymium magnet encased in a steel U-profile that can be mounted with a countersunk screw. The U-profile increases the strength of the magnet when it is in direct contact with an iron surface.
The strength of the channel magnet is measured in horizontal pull. In other words, how many kilograms it can withstand before loosening when attached to, for example, a ceiling beam. If the channel magnet is placed on a smooth vertical surface (e.g. a metal wall), you may find that it slides down before reaching its maximum load capacity.

NB. Please note that the channel magnet is not made from stainless steel and should only be used indoors.If you need screws for the magnets, they will work with the following:
- Slotted countersunk wood screw: DIN 97 (3.5 mm)
- Cross recessed countersunk flat head screws (machine screw): ISO 7046-2 M3 (3 mm)
- Hexalobular socket countersunk flat head screws (machine screw) ISO 14581 M3 (3 mm)
